Exploring the Prophetic II

Once you begin to move in the gift of prophecy and other prophetic gifts, it is important to understand how to integrate prophetic ministry into your local church, ministry and business arena where God has placed you.

The second course of Exploring the Prophetic will focus on developing your prophetic ministry along with practical training in how to integrate prophetic ministry to the rest of your Christian Experience.

Cultivating fiery devotion is like cultivating any fire…You start with combustible material and touch it with a spark, a flame, and it erupts into a burning fire. So it is with your human heart. If you set it in the presence of a God who is a Consuming Fire long enough, in a way He prescribes, He sets your spirit ablaze with passion for Him and His will. The Coming of the Kingdom

In this class you can learn about that kind of gospel. Learn how the Kingdom continues to come even though it is here already. Learn about the power encounters that the coming of the Kingdom brings to dislodge the powers of darkness, heal the sick and deliver the oppressed.

Bio:

Barry is the Senior Pastor of Ephrata Community Church and the president of HarvestNET, a network of churches and ministries. His heart and vision has been to see a shared outpouring of the Holy Spirit enjoyed by many churches in the region simultaneously. Being a student of revivals he gives much of his time to building partnerships for transformation. He holds a B.A. from Geneva College and an M.A.R. in Theology from Westminster Theological Seminary. Barry and Cheryl, his wife also minister at pastors and leaders conferences mostly in India and Caribbean.

Abundance Out of Wholeness

Healing Life’s Hurts – Jesus stated, “If the Son has set you free, you are free indeed.” Despite the promise of this invitation, many who look to God still deal with overwhelming fear, guilt, shame, rejection, loneliness, and a prevailing sense of failure. All of us are wounded to some degree by past experiences in our lives, some as insignificant as a hurtful comment, which manifest in these negative emotions. The source of all of these negative emotions is a “root”. By examining these negative emotions or symptoms which are called “fruit” we can then trace back to the “root” of the problem. This then allows us to become healed by allowing God the Father to make truth known to our innermost being. Wounded hearts can be healed and captive minds can be set free!

As David prayed, we will be inviting God to “see if there be any hurt within us” and to set us free. The goal of the class will be to experience God’s grace, love, and truth on a deeper level in order that we might fully experience the righteousness, peace, and joy of God in everyday life on a contagious level!

INSTRUCTOR

Sue Ferrari, the director of LanCo Breath of Life Ministries, is ordained as a chaplain and has been counseling for twelve years. She is licensed and certified with Breath of Life Ministries and HarvestNet, Inc. She has a B.S. in Education and has taught in both public and private schools.

Sue has received training through several counseling schools including the Elijah House School. She has served on the Family Advisory Council of the Children’s Hospital at Hershey Medical Center and has counseled with Cornerstone Pregnancy Care Services at Lincoln University in Oxford, Pennsylvania. Sue also networks with various other healing ministries throughout Lancaster County that ministers to the prison population, ex-offenders, homeless, and the uninsured. She and her husband, Frank, have served as local pastors. They have six children and twelve grandchildren.

Exploring the Prophetic I

Is it possible to explore prophecy? Is it possible to explore something supernatual like hearing God’s voice? Since the time of Samuel, there have been companies (schools) of prophets and disciples that met together for instruction, prayed together, worshiped together and heard the word of the Lord together. Though all the prophets varied in the degrees of revelation and the ways they received insight from the Lord, it is clear from Scripture that there were many prophets co-existing at one time. A most notable school of prophets can be found during the time of Elisha as the Scriptures reveal he was traiing several novice prophets at the same time. Yet, even before that time, it was the common practice of any trade or shill in Israel for one more experienced to train a novice with potential. John the Baptist had his disciples, Jesus had his, and Paul the Apostle had his. It is the consensus among Christian leaders today that the world on the brink of a great revival, most likely an outpouring of the Holy Spirit unprecedented in Christian history which most people today will live to see. Our Father presents us with an invitation to join Him in the work that He will accomplish. Unfortunately, if we look at church history we can see the revivals have lasted an average of 36 months, mostly because His people were unprepared to sustain the move of God. This class will focus on the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives as He develops the character and disciplines required sustain a move of God and be carriers of His glory.
